Ravens still irked at Bears

10:09 AM ET 05.01 | The Bears are ready to move on, and so is the NFL. Despite strong comments from Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti on Saturday, the NFL -- after suggesting the Bears give up a draft pick -- is leaving the matter to the clubs. And the Bears aren't budging. George McCaskey, who soon will take over the chairmanship of the Bears, downplayed the botched trade -- one that would have had the Ravens giving up the 26th overall pick for the 29th and a fourth-rounder -- and indicated his team has finished dealing with the matter. "I'm disappointed in the Bears and the McCaskeys," Bisciotti told the Baltimore Sun. "It is, in my opinion, a deviation from their great legacy. They concluded that their heartfelt and admirable apology was sufficient for our loss. "All of us at the Ravens strongly disagree."

Which brings up a good point...There would probably be a lot less rhetoric in this world if a person had to back up their comments with the threat of beating someone to death if need be...<I enjoy a good bar brawl myself...>

The trade deal never went through and both teams got the players they intended to draft. Bisciotti basically wants something for nothing.

Ah come on Ozzie, it took both of you to mess this up and you both lucked out in the end. It is not like you used another first round pick on Kyle Boller again.

The Ravens can have Dr. Phil mediate this one... Goodell has better things to do. What those things are, who knows?

Non-story. Both got the player they wanted. If the reverse were true, then it would be a story.

Is it me or is Mr. Bisciotti looking a little like Mr. Davis in Oakland?

Nope, Al Davis Jr. He's waiting for the old man to die before he dons the Member's Only jacket.

Thats what I was thinking! I had to check out Google to see how old he was... He only just hit his 50's too. An 'oil change' or a better hair cut may help.

don't tell the Ravens wanted another trade like last year for Tebow? where they swapped a few places with the Broncos and got 2nd a 3rd and maybe a 4rth, they're kind of being greedy, getting an extra 4rth pick for swapping a few spots isn't bad, not as great as last year but not bad, that was kind of a dumb trade for Tebow anyways he probably would have been at that spot without giving up all those prime draft picks
