Huskies have raised the bar, QB taking lead

08:20 AM ET 05.02 | There was, this time, no sign of Jake Locker. The players who remain, however, say that what also has changed are the expectations. The Locker-led 7-6 season of 2010 re-established the Huskies as a team that, if not yet a contender for conference titles, is at least ready to consistently qualify for bowl games. "I think obviously in the Holiday Bowl it showed we can compete and play and win against a great program like Nebraska," said middle linebacker Cort Dennison, entering his senior season as a newly minted team captain. "So why don't we just keep it up the whole time? We've raised the bar, and I know the coaches expect and the players expect that we aren't going to fall from that bar." ... Keith Price ended the spring with the lead in the battle with Nick Montana to replace Locker. Huskies coach Steve Sarkisian may officially name Price as the starter sometime soon, though Montana would still have a chance to win the job in the fall.

Price has started 1 game, Montana has started 0.

Interns = goofy run-on headline.
"Raising the bar" came from a linebacker.
"QB taking lead" refers to Price being ahead of Montana.

If Price is the starter... I will be impressed that Sark didnt cave to pressure

Halves? We share cropped for a third. Wow, inflation.

That'll work...they could be 4-8 or 8-4 depending on which end of the third you are on!
