08:00 AM ET 05.03 | The Jets' head coach is at it again. If you're tired of hearing Rex Ryan talk, the Jets' head coach has some bad news for you. "I'll say this, get used to it," Ryan said Monday. "In my opinion, the best is yet to come. I know what it takes to win a Super Bowl, and I'm confident we're going to win one, and not just win one, we're going to win it this year." You're going to hear a lot from Ryan this week as he pushes his new book, Play Like You Mean It. He began his media blitz yesterday, including an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. He also sat down with writers who cover the team, and discussed a variety of issues raised in the book.

I think the Jets are winning you over.

Agreed... better that Coach thinks we can win instead of thinking "Damn - we suck!"

Tim Thomas stopped 52 shots last night. Bruins are up 2-0 over Philly. Could be their year.

You can always hope, my friend... but I wouldn't count those chicken quite yet.

There is a bit of history to contend with.

It's a really good series right now if you're a Bruins fan.

Duly noted. I'd prefer to think of that as "demons to be exorcised." They took care of the Game 7 curse against Montreal last week. And the team with the lights-out goaltender often wins, regardless.

One thing for sure - Thomas has been better than <fill in the blank> for Philly...

Boucher looked like he was sick to his stomach when he left. Too many cheese steaks? The kid only gave up one goal. My guess is he gets the start tomorrow night.

Philly can't seem to keep a goaltender in net for any extended period of time.

Thomas has been unstoppable.

I had a vision of a re-make of the Denzel Washington movie with a demented Thomas the Tank Engine as the train.

That's the closest they'll get to a title.

Rex said it would be a footrace to the championship...and he wanted to smell it, er, I mean watch it up close.

If the lockout is still in place on July 4th, the team can't participate. But, no matter. Rex can win all by himself.

Unless, of course, Fat Albert shows up....
