08:09 AM ET 05.03 | The future of Detroit's head coach remains unsettled. If John Kuester is fired as Pistons coach, one candidate for the job could be someone who, like Kuester, was an assistant coach under Larry Brown when the Pistons won the championship in 2004. Mike Woodson, 53, said he spent the perfect season in Detroit in 2004. ... Woodson left the Pistons to coach the Atlanta Hawks, taking them from 13 victories in 2004-05 to 53 in 2009-10. But he was fired after the Hawks were swept out of the playoffs by Orlando in 2010. Woodson, who owns a home in Katy, Texas, interviewed with the Houston Rockets last week. "It was a good meeting, I thought," Woodson said.

So what did ya think about last night?

Here's one thing I noticed... I didn't notice Bynum.

At all.

That can't happen for the Lakers to win this thing.

Oh - Jason Terry is a knucklehead (but then - we already knew that...)

Bynum... at some point... needs to show up and be nasty

If he dominates the way he did against the Mavs in March the Lakers will be unstoppable. He keeps playing like "that" (last night) and the Mavs will beat L.A.

QUOTE(#6):

Bynum never is 'there'I've said before, Id love to see a breakdown of bynums career points in the second half, vs 1st, and I bet he rarely ever scores more than 5-6 points in the secondGranted kobe takes alot of shots, but at some point the kid needs to show up and be nasty

Kobe came out hellbent on taking over that game... never a good sign.

Did you see what Charles said after the game...That the Lakers need to move Bynum to the bench and start Odom bc neither him or Gasoft can cover Dirk and Odom would do a little bit better....But I though Haywood played really good against him....

I think the bulls should sign Hamilton.

You do realize he is under contract for the next two years at almost 25 million right? They def arent taking on that money....

Not one of kobes best games, but I don't blame him....Their bigs need to step up.....kobe knows theyre both in a fog and he's not going to share when he has no confidence in them

In his defense he was feeling it...

Pistons can't hire a new coach until they fire the old one.
Pistons can't fire the old one until the sale goes through.

In the first minute? He was tossing up prayers before anyone even broke a sweat.

QUOTE(#20):

This may be your Mavericks' year. I hope so. J Kidd deserves a ring.

Its one game and they had to play almost flawless to get back in it....The Lakers are still the favorite but all I ask is that the Mavs keep it close to the end....
