08:16 AM ET 05.04 | Seems that move to the Pac-10 is going to pay off for Utah. Simply put, "It's gonna be a bright, bright, bright, bright sun-shiny day" for the University of Utah and the Pacific-12 Conference. Already is, as a matter of fact. Wednesday morning in Phoenix, where the high temperature is expected to push 100 degrees, Pac-10 (soon to be Pac-12) commissioner Larry Scott will announce that the conference has agreed to a 12-year television contract with Fox and ESPN worth nearly $3 billion. The Associated Press is reporting that the deal, which begins in 2012-13, will guarantee each of the schools in the conference approximately $21 million per year. Utah, which made $1.2 million in television money in the Mountain West Conference, will elevate to a full share of the new Pac-12 deal over a three-year period.

Colorado is probably hoping for a huge check...rumor has it they are in the hole and need it big time. Took a money game at tOSU which is strange for a AQ conference school...isn't it?

Utah is a great team with a great coach, watch out PAC-12, the Utes are tough, its takes a very skilled and well coach team to beat em!

Are you saying TCU was a "very skilled and well coached team"? Couldn't have been. They weren't a member of an AQ (aka "real") conference and didn't play any good teams.

The Utah bagmen better pick their game up to make sure they are truly competitive in the 12 Pac.

BB, isn't it just a one game deal with tOSU paying the Buffs? Rumor has it $1.1 million.

I would love for USC to schedule Florida home and home, but then I remembered that the Gators don't leave the state of Florida for an OOC game (stirring the pot)!!!! LOL.
