08:15 AM ET 05.04 | "Kelly," thanks to Jim's nephew, is a trending topic in Buffalo again. A football coach from Syracuse [visited St. Joe's Tuesday]. On Wednesday, one from Clemson will be by. On Monday, Maryland visited. Last Friday, it was Florida State. Earlier last week, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Duke and the University at Buffalo. They've all made their way to Kenmore Avenue because they're recruiting St. Joe's quarterback Chad Kelly -- and the list goes on. On Monday, Kelly was making his way back to Western New York after a weekend driving tour of three more interested programs: Purdue (Saturday), Michigan State (Sunday) and Michigan (Monday). There was a conference call with Alabama, which is planning a trip. Miami was supposed to be up last week but a flight got canceled. Rutgers, North Carolina State and Vanderbilt have also been in touch.

You got it, Van.
If the kid has the brains and the self-discipline to do the ND academic program, and his uncle's personality and leadership skills, he's a natural for South Bend.
If he goes elsewhere it tends to confirm the above point, lacking in either intellectual abilities or self-discipline.

The above ought to set the Haters off!

I think Clemson has been looking nationwide for the next perfect QB to run the new offense. Kelley is on the list.

Or not. Not sure which the "or not" pertains to but it's one of them

So he only wants to play against SEC schools not on one of them.
