Edwards left little doubt Wednesday that he is willing to be flexible to remain with the Jets when free agency opens. Edwards, who will be an unrestricted free agent regardless of which rules are in place after the lockout, hasn't ruled out the possibility of giving Rex Ryan & Co. a discount to remain with Gang Green. Edwards, 28, said he would be amenable to signing with the Jets if Gang Green's offer was as much as $1 million per year less than competing offers. "It depends on what the discount is," Edwards said after the third day of the Jets West passing camp organized by Mark Sanchez. "I'm not aiming for the moon. I'm in a certain ballpark. If it's close, then let's do it. ... This is where I want to be."
