Materazzi and Zidane end feud

09:54 AM ET 05.05 | Marco Materazzi has claimed a chance meeting in a Milan hotel car park finally brought to an end his feud with former France international Zinedine Zidane. Italy defender Materazzi hit the headlines in 2006 as the victim of a head-butt from Zidane during the World Cup final in Germany. In an interview with French magazine So Foot, Materazzi has revealed that while visiting Jose Mourinho he bumped into his old adversary. Rather than repeat the ugly scenes of five years ago, Materazzi claims a handshake and a "beautiful man-to-man moment" had drawn a line under the sorry saga. "I reached out, and I said, 'Listen, I'm sorry this happened, it's over.' And he said, 'No, no, no problem, do not worry.' We shook hands and that was it."

I would never forgive that turd. Of course he was visiting Mou because his career as a player is over.

I like Zizou and all, but I don't know how he has become such a victim in all of this. Matrix is a pr1ck, but people talk smack on the pitch all the time.

Adebayor will not be bought at the end of the season by Moudrid.

Apparently Inter will try and lure Pep away from Barca this summer.

mehhhhh..... ask me after game 4. I think they can pull out game 3, but if Dallas gets game 4, the series is over.

They didn't look very good at all last night. Barea was running circles around them in the 4th quarter.

Called it yesterday. Xavi agrees.

Barcelona star Xavi has claimed Manchester United should be considered the favourites for the Champions League final at Wembley.

I could see that. Nani's better than anything Barcelonas running out in that ancient midfield.

Mavs vs Heat rematch? I could go for that.

We'll just have to go in there and try and compete. It ain't easy being the underdog.

Why is this not surprising at all. Always trying to downplay their chances. To me Barca are the favorites. It is essentially a home game for ManU, but I think Barca would still be given the edge. Anyone know what the betting lines are?
