Shula takes shot at Parcells

08:02 AM ET 05.06 | Don Shula isn't all that broken up about Bill Parcells taking leave of the Miami Dolphins. Shula expressed dismay with Parcells in an appearance on 790-AM in Miami on Wednesday. Parcells left the Dolphins last year after serving as their director of football operations for most of his three-year stint with the team. "I don't think much of him. I'm not a big Parcells fan," Shula told the station. ... "He was here and I guess tried to get it done, but it didn't happen. And he's moved on, and that's been his history." The Dolphins went 25-23 during the Parcells era, but went 7-9 each of the past two seasons. Parcells moved into a role as a consultant to GM Jeff Ireland last year.
