Even limited Shaq chills Heat

08:07 AM ET 05.06 | No, Shaquille O'Neal won't be playing big minutes, but that doesn't mean he can be ignored by the Heat -- especially if he's coming off the bench. [If] Shaq's coming off the bench, and Spoelstra chooses not to start Anthony -- who is more comfortable as a reserve -- then he might be forced to wait to deploy Anthony until Jermaine O'Neal returns. It doesn't seem likely than Shaq would play more than the 11-plus minutes that Nenad Krstic did in Game 2. As it is, Doc Rivers is trying to find time for Jeff Green and Glen Davis, which requires occasionally going small. But those 11 minutes would be 11 minutes that the Heat would be without arguably its most effective interior defender. It allows Rivers to dictate the Heat's rotation to a degree.

Miami did what they needed to do, win on their home court. now it is Boston's turn.

Game three is pivotal. Miami should push VERY hard to take it. I certainly would feel more comfortable with that win more than if they lose it and try for a game 4 split. Having HCA helps, but they don't want to give the Cs any change in momentum. They are dangerous.

The Cs are gonna probably play like the way the Sixers did in game 4 with the Heat... just leavin' all on the floor. That's when the Heat can sometimes get complacent (and sometimes a bit clueless as to assignment). But I want them to zone up and keep Rondo from penetratin'.

LOL! What's Shaq gonna do at this point, injure his leg again???

Shaq could still be a suprise. I wouldn't count him out totally. He's not a scrub yet.

No... more like a fat grub.

Shaq had a higher PER on the Celtics this year than half the team..including Rondo. He's annoying but he still has some game if he is healthy.

He played very well in the first half of the season. If the Cs get him back healthy he poses new problems for the Heatles. Not saying he is the difference maker but he would help them.

For Sure....

Maybe his presence on the court will help pick up his teammates but he's no savior.
