Boxing? That's so 1960s. Who cares about this loser?

Please fight Manny.....I got some money on this fight!

My thoughts on the figh last night:

I was very disapointed with the main event. I'm glad I saw the preliminary bouts. I think the Arce/Vasquez & Pavlik bouts saved the night. For those of you who just saw the Pacquiao/Mosley fight, yall missed the real action......

As far as the main event...I expected more from Mosley. I thought Mosley was very gun shy & timid in there. I know Manny Pacquiao hits hard, but if you are in there fighting for that type of money, the least thing you could do is go out on your shield & show the fans you are willing to take risks even if you get knocked the **** out.

Is not going to happen, Mayweather is scared and doesnt want to ruin his pretty record.

It's really not that at all. If we know anything about Mayweather, we know he is a conceited, egomaniac that actually believes he is the only draw in boxing. This is all about boxing politics and the "managed" fighter. People should know better, but the politics of boxing don't get talked about enough. The bottom line is neither camp has any incentive to make the fight happen. Bob Arum can have Manny fight two times a year at 25-35 million per fight, and take no risks. Manny will fight anybody, but he defers to his managment to make the business decisions and as much as we would like for him to go against Arum and take a Mayweather fight regardless of terms, that is just not going to happen. As for Mayweather, he is the type of person who has an inflated sense of himself. He actually thinks he would be doing Manny a favor by taking that fight. He thinks he is the attraction, and therefore should be dictating the terms of the fight. His ego won't allow him to take the fight on equal terms. People think he's afraid, but "money" talks so at a minimum, if he got the terms he wants he could get in there and hold / run the whole fight if that's the case or just check out a la Spinks vs. Tyson.

But I thought Manny teams did go after Mayweather and even agreed to majority of the blood testing. Manny himself even said he will take the blood test but Mayweather still refused to fight him.

Can't blame Manny, everyone fears him, want to dock, ran away from him in the ring and collect their money.
