NASCAR may change Richmond wall

Why don't they just mandate safer barriers at all the tracks on all the walls.?

Seems I changed the channel too soon and didn't see the 'fight' between Harvick and Busch.

I don't know guys, I kind of thought Kyle played Harvick for a sap. He waits until Harvick gets out of his car, then pushes it into the wall and drives off. Harvick is notorious for making a lot of noise and jumping around, but not really doing anything else. All of that said, he had a right to be pissed off. I don't see how Busch can pretend he didn't wreck him intentionally.

Actually, Rick knows a bit about racing and is right on the money about Harvick.. Kyle played him for a fool just like I said on the other thread. Kevin made himself look like an idiot last night on the track and compounded it by letting KB school him on pit road.

Harvick is a hothead, but he will have all week to think about the prospects of getting into a season long pissing match with a borderline sociopath like KB. Despite the efforts of his gold digging, trailer trash wife to convince him otherwise, Harvick is smart enough to see the folly in this and will not do anything in any future races to Shrubby.

Of course I could be wrong and Harvick might decide that retribution is more important than his title chances.

Harvick taps Kyle, Kyle taps harvick, Nascar says that's racing. Harvick gets out of his car and swings at Kyle, Nascar doesn't like that. Kyle pushes Harvicks car, says he wanted to get away from raging maniac, Nascar agrees. Earlier Menard almost runs over his crew man, another gas man gets dragged out of his pit, I don't think a car rolling towards the wall at 3 M.P.H. presented a hazard to any crew member. Harvick looked really ticked after leaving the hauler so I think they slapped his wrist.

One more thought on that dust up. All the mothers were in the stands so whose mother was prouder. The one who taught her son that fists are not the answer to problems or the mother of the street fighter. I was taught at an early age that fists wern't the answer and I have not had a problem in life.

im rather confident NASCAR had a HUGE problem with an unmanned car being forced down pit road

Jeff should get an extra bonus for finding the dangerous places in the walls that NASCAR doesn't. He's good at it. A few more of those and he'll probably hang it up for good.

That was a great moment in television.

When Harvick hopped out you just knew Kyle was going to do something. And he did not disappoint.

2-3 years ago, Gordon found a spot on the inside wall at Vegas that didnt have safer barriers, and it looked real ugly. The Vegas track put the barriers in there right after.

how much is a life worth...............the tracks that have installed have been dropping ticket prices----------a few dollars on a ticket is worth it.......
