08:09 AM ET 05.12 | Not only would Doc Rivers let down a good portion of Celtics Nation by stepping down, but he'd also have some explaining to do to his point guard. Said Rivers: "I love the guys in that locker room." Enough that he wants to see them again. "I'm leaning heavily to coming back," Rivers said. "I haven't made that decision, but I can tell you that I probably will [return]. I've kind of come to that over the last couple of weeks." ... Rajon Rondo added more assurance. "Let me put this on the record: Doc already committed and said he was coming back to me," Rondo said. "He can't go back on his word. We just signed a contract about 10 minutes ago. Wyc [Grousbeck, the Celtic's owner] was there."

One more before the road, Bro?

They need new young legs. I guess Ange is not the GM of year as he was a few years ago.

Doc is a underrated coach and a ESPN insider said he's talked to some GMs who said they'd take Doc over Phil if both decided to comeback. That tells me a lot about him and how his professionalism is perceived around the league.

The Celtics need to get younger and i don't know about blowing the team up but Ray Allen or KG has to go if not both.

celtics cant get younger....they had a chance to trade ray allen previosly. you cant trade garnet...what do you get in return...and pierce is a celtic for life. this team will be what it is now..next year.

"Comeback". That's a poor choice of words considering the context of the last 5 mins of last night's game..

QUOTE(#10):

Jeff Green wants to stay. They need a sixth man spark off the bench which would enable the big 3 to not have to log so much minutes. Why not J.R Smith.Say he is a headcase but so are Nate Robinson and Starbury.Celtics had each of them in check. Also they need a big body center.Big Baby may want more money elsewhere however Leon Powe whom the C's drafted is a free agent, why not resign him?Delonte should be back, if they can't resign him, they can get Earl Watson.Lastly they need a big body center.J.O was a bit banged up, Kristic is a jumpshooter, they need at least three bodies at center.Perhaps Pryzbilla.

They need to get younger, otherwise, it will be the same old, same old, next season as well.

Did LeChoke apologized last night? First time ever. The Heatles also over celebrated. They thought they won the championship.

LOL! It was a big game..... most critics were saying that the experienced veterans of the C's could beat out the heat...... we just got injured at the wrong time and were Not KNOCKING DOWN SHOTS THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SERIES!!!!!!
