Are you sure, Bro?

Dubai's Al Wasl club has made Diego Maradona an offer to be its next coach and talks are ongoing, the club said Sunday.

This would be amazing. I would have to personally thank Mr. Wilf myself if this happens. Could be really sweet!!!!

Who cares. This T&R is about a Minnesotan MLS team. Keep it on topic. No one cares about some lame Dubai team or washed-up Maradona.

We never keep it on topic.....

Sounders-Timbers was outstanding. I look forward to the other PNW derby matches. These are the sort of nights MLS needs. Great crowd+intense game= Growth.

Yay! With all the scandinavians up here we can get some Eredivisie relationships!

a lot of people still care about diego. he's not only one of the best, if not the best footballer of all time, but also one of the most outspoken and opinionated figures in the sport today. he's always got something to say and it usually creates debate, i think that's worth caring about...

You're right. after six hours..mine is just the 13th post, including spam and I Love LA's "bro" post. Hardly anyone cares about soccer in Dubai. Or Minnesota, either.

Find another thread about that topic, then, and post there. ;)

Well, yeah...that's sort of the point of having comments about a SPECIFIC topic. ;)

Instead it sounds like you're looking for a different forum to post in. I definitely wish they had just an open "sound-off" thread for everyone to post in but I doubt it will happen.

good game to watch, rockin' atmosphere. Agree that's what the MLS needs.

As for your Red Devils - title wrapped up, now time to focus on UCL. I hope Barca wins, but I've got a feeling that SAF and Ji-sung Park are gonna get it done.

Speaking of, congrats to Ajax on winning the title and on Twente for getting back into the UCL for the second year running. Man, did PSV blow it.
Will be interesting to see if Onyewu lands back with Twente next season or somewhere else...

......and let me be the first to congratulate West Ham on going down - would love to see them open the Olympic Stadium in the Championship. Take some, spammers.

Humm before Mr. Wolf start a MLS team here in MN maybe he should check if the Thunder are still in town. They are in the A-league used to play at Blane at the International sports center but fail to gain any support and now are playing at a local High School stadium in the HOOD so yeah I don't think he's gonna make any money of the MLS team. I do like to see more good team in the MLS but as of right now RED Bulls are the only team worth watching.

The Minnesota Kicks were one of the most successful NASL Franchises back in the late 70's, early 80's....They used to get 40,000 for games at the old Metropolitan Stadium. I hope they get a franchise!

The Minnesota Kicks used to draw 40,000 for games back in the late 70's, early 80's...I think it could be a great place for a team.
