Gordon doesn't like calling other drivers

01:16 PM ET 05.17 | Jeff Gordon is not a fan of post-race phone calls. At least when they come from fellow drivers. While at Dover International Speedway, Gordon said the idea of calling drivers after a wreck is new to him and a tradition he's not ready to follow wholeheartedly. "The whole calling thing is strange to me," Gordon said. "Because if somebody calls me on Tuesday, let's say somebody wrecks me and somebody calls me on Tuesday -- they're calling me so I don't wreck them the next week. They're not calling me because they really believe that we should have a conversation. I don't want you to call me. If I call you, you should be thinking the same thing."

Being a Gordon fan since he pretty much came into NASCAR, I find it amusing that it wasn't too long ago everyone was calling him gay. Among other things. Funny what a gorgeous supermodel wife and two beautiful children will do for an image.
