Perkins, Chandler won't even agree to disagree

08:06 AM ET 05.19 | A mere 70 seconds into Game 1, Kendrick Perkins and Tyson Chandler were whistled for double-technicals. After hearing Perkins on Wednesday, you can expect more chippy play between the two the rest of the series. "Me and Tyson never got along," Perkins said. "He don't like me and I don't like him. That's pretty much how it's been. Everybody always looks at me as kind of a dirty player, if you're on the opposite team. But he's just as dirty as anybody else." ... Perkins' view that the two centers have never liked each other seems to be news to Chandler. "No, there's no history at all," Chandler said. "I have nothing against him. He won a championship with the Boston Celtics... I've got respect for him. The chippy stuff and after the ball stuff, that's nonsense and I'm not going to do that."

I think Perkins is a little dirty...Ive noticed it a few times this year that he always has his elbows up around other ppls heads....Its ok bc Haywood or Chandler wont back down from that bum.....

That's the one thing Perkins learned from his mentor Garnett -- the need to create fake drama to pump up his own intensity.

Yep....I get being physical and tough but it seems like he is constantly getting those elbows up around guys heads....But if that is his game then thats fine he can warm that seat on the bench...

IMO Perkins is overrated. His rebounding numbers aren't THAT great and plus he's hardly on the court to be helping his team. He surely brings toughness and nastiness which is NEEDED for a championship contender. But he's not a very good player with skills.
Tyson is a LOT more skilled than Perkins.
