08:07 AM ET 05.21 | The Lakers are slowly reaching out to coaching candidates, contacting Rick Adelman to officially express an interest in him to replace Phil Jackson. Former Lakers coach Mike Dunleavy and current Lakers assistant coach Brian Shaw are also candidates. Former Cleveland coach Mike Brown is considered the front-runner for the Golden State coaching job, though the Lakers are somewhat interested in him too.

QUOTE(#3):

I'm crossing my fingers for tonight. I just hope that JET shows up and our defense shows up. JET has been the constant in all the losings in the playoffs. Everytime we lose he does not show up. He talks too much. He does not need to tell the whole world that he will outscore the whole OKC bench. That's too much disrespect and just gives the OKC bench to play harder. He sets himself up to fail. Just let your game do the talking... Stupid JET

Yep... our favorite whipping boy showed up at the same time as a half-hearted defense did.

I tip my hat to OKC but I know what I saw... and I expect Coach to refocus the team a little.

And JET - **** and just PLAY!!!
