It's unfortunate, but runningbacks have a very short life span in the NFL. Maybe he can sign with someone else and be a third down back. But, he'll never have the opportunity to start anymore.

Sure he will. He can start to look for opportunities outside of the NFL. If his head is on right he'll get into some type of business and stop chasing a pipe dream.

Hopefully he did not spend too much on hip hop underwear, he may not get a big contract.

Bottom line: Parker was never good enough to be the number one back. We gave him a chance, other teams gave him a chance, he's either going long or getting stuffed behind the line. You can't build your game around that. He was at his best when he had the Bus for guaranteed short yardage. Without a bus, who needs a race car?

THE WORLD WE LIVE IN!!!!!What Pittsburgh and a lot of you other haters fail to remember is the records set, the 2xsuper bowl and work Parker put in with the Steelers. As soon as things get a little cloudy so does the people who write the checks and so called fans. Nothing is guaranteed; injuries happen but @ the end of the day dude blessed. You loosers which are up here haten will never make it to the NFL; so fall back and check yourself first. I honestly doubt he was begging to come back, Somebody should have been begging him. When you love something it???s hard to let it go, but when you blessed, being without is not an option. What ever Willies next move is he will excel. It???s the NFL lost... not Parkers so stop hating and make you a few million before you open your mouth about the next man.
