08:04 AM ET 05.25 | A one-time NCAA star is about to audition for his hometown team. Former Michigan State standout Kalin Lucas will be among a group of guards working out for the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, Lucas' agent, Michael Whitaker, said this afternoon. Lucas is scheduled to be joined by Andrew Goudelock (College of Charleston), Malcolm Lee (UCLA), Norris Cole (Cleveland State), Cory Joseph (Texas) and Andrew Albicy (France). Meanwhile, Pistons coach John Kuester said this afternoon that he is back in town and will help conduct predraft workouts. He had been with his family in Philadelphia since the team's season ended last month.

If we can get him in the second round I would take him...

To be honest.....after pick 8-10.....its a crapshoot (more of a crapshoot) so whenever he goes, its no surprise

Exactly. This is one of the least talent drafts I have ever seen. I'm a MSU fan and I hope they don't pick him with the 8th pick. He is a second round talent. He disappears way too much in games.

A very good college player. Frankly, he's not an NBA player. Kalin, pack your bags and study up on your Greek.

Is this actually the least talented draft you've seen or have you been told that its the least talented draft you've seen? Because GMs and scouts are always throwing this kind of crap out there to gain leverage and angles anyway they can and the media buys it every time

not saying it is or isnt a good or bad draft, but most of the top prospects are European and more unknown to most people. It will be like any other draft with hits and misses all over the board

I think you nailed it, most of the top picks are going to be foreign bigs. So little isknown about them and they aren't highly publicized here. Who knows if they'll develop into players but they have the same chance as American bigs do. In this way it's a riskier draft, time will tell about the talent

Didn't he have a pretty bad season this past year? I know he was hurt, but he didn't put up the best of numbers. But, its the Pistons, so.....

Until Joe D and the coach are gone it is going to be hard for them to find anyone interested in playing in Detroit. Even the current players all want out. Time for a regime change in Piston land
