08:28 AM ET 05.25 | Sorry, mullet fans. Jaroslav Zidek, the agent for former Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Rangers star Jaromir Jagr, spoke with Sovetsky Sport's Pavel Lysenkov about Jagr's future. And it looks like Jagr is not considering any offers from the NHL at this point. ... Q: What will affect his decision? A: "A few factors. Not too long of a flight from the Czech Republic. A good team. A fitting center [forward]. Jaromir want to have a quality season, to have an ideal feel for the game." Q: How real is the NHL option? A: "I hope we will only negotiate with KHL teams. We have not spoken about a move to North America yet."

Big whoop. Yay!!! Any Pens' fans that wanted him back in a Pens' uniform = morons. Good luck to him. God Bless!

Translated= no good offers

No worries Jaromir. There's no long line of folks wanting to speak to your agent or you. Go on-line to gamble a bit. Might win?................probably not.

I feel like I am living the scene from Superman where Lex Luther is brushing his teeth and Lois Lane walks out of his cabin and Lex says..."DWI"?

Nice to have your perspective on this and nice to see you again.

Just to keep you up to date...It seems Carcillo has taken over Sid's crying role and Heatly just plain suks.

The Canucks are going to the finals...and to the mortification of a certain Fannation user, in large part thanks to BobbyBeachBallLou...well, you just can't imagine the air time that will get moving forward...

"Jagr not thinking NHL, after all"

Thank the good Lord for that! On the other hand ..... he'd look good in Pens silks. ;)

May 25, 2011  10:23 AM ET

Rats. There goes my dream of watching a Briere-Richards-Jagr line destroy all the scoring records. (Please understand the major sarcasm that comes with that comment :)

May 25, 2011  10:24 AM ET

I don't know how to survive without seeing Jagr loaf around for 18 minutes a game.

Oops, I almost forgot...MarioJr...
Enjoy the rest of your playing career in the KHL...we salut you.

Lois Lane? Hmm. I rather be someone hotter, but... ;)

Crosby hasn't cried/whined in quite some time. Hell, I would love to see him lace up just to whine. Lace up and give it a good ole' cry out there, Cros! Punch someone in the applebags! ha. ha. I was proud of my Pen's performance w/o him and Va-Geno this season, and we'll leave it at that. However, when there was the rumors of Jagr's return? EEK!

Canucks going to the Finals must be giving Hank an ulcer or a drinking problem. Gotta say, I am a bit surprised myself, but...

And I hate that Boston could be going to the Finals as well, but...

That celebration was ... what? About three decades ago? The KHL it is!

And btw, thanks. I just pop in once in awhile to add something unimportant.

Hank can't hear you. He's lost in his herbal garden, oblivious to such earthly delights as the Canucks making the SC finals.

Are you all that stupid? i mean seriously. He's one of the best in the world and no matter the rule changes in the NHL he still became a 50+ goal scorer 2 years before leaving for the KHL. At 38 he won the gold medal,39 gets a hat trick against U.S.A which is filled with NHL players, wins the Bronze against Russia which again is a team filled with NHL stars....last year in the Olympics Ovechkin crushed him at center ice cracking Jagr's visor, but did he whine? hell no he got right back in the play unlike Crosby who has to cry to the refs while the play is still going on.

Jagr belongs back with the Pens and he asked to be traded because the team was financially hurting and it'd be easier to trade him than 3 other good players he said. He spent 2 or 3 years with the Rangers breaking about 6 or 7 records in a short amount of time and that's saying alot with how long the team has been around and no matter where he's playing team or league his presence is known so yes he can still do it in the NHL. Don't forget he's around 200 points away from Lemieux in career points....i say "around" because i dont know the exact number

Yep, I must be stupid.

50+ goal scorer in the NHL? Now? SIKE!

Back with the Pens? No thank ya! I am not discounting what he did for the Pens, and I think it is a shame the Pens' fans boo him. However...

Don't want his toxic attitude back with a team that meshes terrific together, and this from a fan that would like to see anything done to get the PP from Poo-Poo to mediocre.

I can just see him in interviews now after a loss: "Oh, everything is on my shoulders. We lost because of me." Whhhhaaaa! No thanks.

The Pens don't need him, and any Pens' fan who says otherwise hasn't been f'in watching the last few years. Der!

Back less than a day and already a post with "applebags" in it :)

We missed ya!

Dude. Did you see how the Pens came together after Crosby and Malkin went out? They almost made it to the second round of the playoffs without those two. No imagine how this team will be when Crosby and Malkin return. The Pens don't need Jagr.
