08:23 AM ET 05.25 | Dana Holgorsen is in the headlines again. West Virginia University is looking into an "alleged incident" believed to involve the football team's offensive coordinator and head coach-in-waiting, Holgorsen, at a Cross Lanes casino last week. Multiple sources told the Charleston Daily Mail Holgorsen was removed from Mardi Gras Casino & Resort after 3 a.m. May 18. Holgorsen had been at a Mountaineer Athletic Club function earlier in the day in Logan before spending the evening at the casino with other university representatives. In a statement released late Tuesday night, Michael Fragale, the assistant athletic director for communications, said, "Athletic director Oliver Luck and head coach Bill Stewart have been made aware of the alleged incident. Once they have all the facts, they will deal with it appropriately."

As long as it brings wins, people will forget about stuff like whatever this was (sounds like Dana got teased about his name and got in a fight to me).

Agree with first part. Not accurate on the latter and it you dig a little deeper you will find the type of baggage he brings.

Well, the second part was a joke, but 'casino' and '3 AM' does scream alcohol-related belligerence.

Now we are following coaches around and prying into their personal lives? Everybody has a skeleton somewhere and as long as it does not affect his coaching what's the big deal?Unless someone at WV does'nt like him.

Some people just don't know when to accept good fortune. He has good fortune staring him in the face and he goes out and seeks trouble.
Not a good story for him.

If this is DH's "normal", I would not want him leading my program. And it unfortunately appears that this is indeed his normal.

Normal drinking for me: I get happy, I sing if music is playing (I got the nickname Jukebox freshman year because I knew the words to literally every song played one night), and occasionally I do ridiculous things like steal a rose from somewhere and give it to a cute girl. Never have I had to have been "removed" from a bar or a club at 3 AM, and I'm guessing most normal people have not either.

Sounds like he's fast becoming the John Daly of CFB. And that's a shame.
