08:09 AM ET 05.26 | 'Tis the season to doubt Tom Thibodeau. As doubting Tom becomes the thing to do in Chicago while awaiting Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals Thursday, this is an ideal time to remind everybody Thibodeau didn't have a good year coaching the Bulls. He had a great year. ... But that reality also doesn't make Thibodeau immune to the harsh scrutiny he surely has applied to himself during moments of deep, honest introspection like the one on the team bus. Such is life coaching in the city where Phil Jackson started collecting championship rings. All the tough questions being asked about Thibodeau can be condensed by the toughest: Is the NBA Coach of the Year being outcoached by Erik Spoelstra?

Maybe he is being outcoached...

Maybe the team he's coaching against is better.

Both. Go Heat!

Not outcoached...the Heat are simply better and they aren't getting consistient secondary scoring or even consistient primary efficient scoring from Rose.

Finish 'em off tonight.

I don't want to wait 8 days for the Mavs to play again.

I agree.....Until the Bulls get a second scorer that can create their own shoot they are just going to be very very good....

5 days will be fine.

8 days - too much down time.

CHI just young. 1st time in a deep playoff run and it shows, they look a little lost near end of games.

Bad news for you OBD. Although the Heat have their own issues with keeping leads at times, the numerous comebacks by the Mavs just might not fly with the Heat.

Heaties don't play that. They like to capitalize on mistakes and milk the time while leading if they aren't getting enough fastbreaks.

Except when you have a smart team they will slow their fast break opportunities and turn it into a half court game which well that isnt really the Heats strong suit....

A Heat-Mavs matchup is definitely shaping up, but I'm will to guess the Heat might secretly have preferred to play OKC, and the Mavs secretly wanting the Bulls.

This matchup will be the ultimate slugfest with a few mismatches along the way.

The more times the Bulls stays alive the better will be for me and the MAVS. Durant is such a class act. He said that he let his city down while some other classless superstar disowns his city...

dig... dig... dig! :)

Yeah...Ive said all along that the Mavs can beat anyone they just have to go out and prove it.....I think the Heat-Mavs series will be a good close fought series that could go either way...But if Dallas steals either game 1 or 2 in Miami then it could get very interesting....
