I got to give Maddon credit, he's done a great job with a team that after losing so many players in the off season not much was expected out of them. I don't know about all these theme things, though when your winning I'm sure the player's have fun with it.

I've not been as impressed with Maddon as many pundits are. You give me ten years of top draft picks for my team and we will be a very good baseball team. Now that those youngsters eligible for free agency are leaving and the "top of the draft" picks are no longer rolling in we will see what Joe is made of. Wearing PJ's ain't gonna make them better.

Maybe they could wear T-shirts and hats of all the MLB teams that are better than they are.

Bill Lumbergh: Oh, and remember: next Friday... is Hawaiian shirt day. So, you know, if you want to, go ahead and wear a Hawaiian shirt and jeans.

Pittsburgh has had over 10 plus years of top draft picks and they haven't been able to do squat with that so you have to give credit to Joe Maddon and the Tampa organization for not missing on those picks.

You seem to be confusing the responsibilites of Managers and General Managers.
