08:21 AM ET 05.27 | Is the Big House just not big enough? Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon has talked recently, including Wednesday, about a facilities master plan the athletic department is considering. ... "The south end of the stadium would be the place that we would start, and if we were to take the bleacher system up to the top of the scoreboards, which would be even with the elevation of the East and the West towers, create a concourse that would afford fans the ability to get from one side to the other, both indoors and outdoors, both in the concourse and additional bleacher capacity. It would take the total capacity up close to 119,000, maybe even 120,000. I would love to do that, at some point under my watch."

You sure do need to start winning more games, but the idea sounds good for the $$$.

Put a few more losers in the seats.

Will this make more room for the tOSU fans that come to the games there, you know, put them behind the scoreboard. LOL

They sure do have a following, though.

Yes, the program needs to generate even more money so the adults can get even richer off the kids that they "pay" with $25K per year scholarships. With a stadium of that size, they probably could afford a $6M per year coach. Maybe increase the AD's salary to $2M. But make sure those kids play only for in-kind services. After all, this is all about amateurism.

Maybe TSUN can "gift" a few of those seats to Villanova so they can count them toward FBS status and the Big Least will let them in!

QQ more. $25 per year? Uhhh, maybe instate...Do you have any idea how much money it costs to go to say, Notre Dame, out of state? Try $34,000. I've heard USC is close to 40,000 out of state. That doesn't include room and board or food or books. I was lucky to have a number of scholarships and grants. I have friends who are 60k+ in student debt.

Maybe if you went to a university you might understand a thing or two about the cost or maybe you did but mommy and daddy picked up the check.

At one level I kinda agree with this guy, although he really needs to take a chill pill or an anger management class or somethin'.

The problem is twofold. If you let the schools bid on players, it pretty much ceases to be CFB and becomes Minor League Pro Football. So I assume you mean pay the same stipend to all scholarship CFB players.

That brings up problem two. It would require an act of Congress. Literally. Without changes to the Title IX statute, all schools would have to pay all scholarship athletes in all sports the same stipend. I can see a whole freakin' bunch of schools keeping football and basketball and two women's sports for Title IX compliance, and dropping everything else. That's not a result I can support.

And you have to include beer money in there too, it is a must for college, not kidding, a part of the life there.

And condoms. Safety is important, even in a permissive college culture.

Oh and boo hoo, those poor players. They should get free college AND get paid so they can play a game that they love. Freakin' mongoloids like yourself pretend like playing football isn't the most awesome thing you could possibly be doing. Then there is the chance that if they play well, they'll go on to make millions of dollars in the NFL. Aww those poor kids. They get to play the game they love, in front of millions of people, for a chance to make millions of dollars.

Meanwhile, there are people that pay their own way through college, get a degree and find themselves with mountains of student debt and no job because the economy is in the tank.

I'd love to have the money back that I spent on beer in college.

I'd use it to buy more beer.
