07:34 AM ET 05.28 | Newly hired Lakers Coach Mike Brown is working on assembling his coaching staff, doing what he can to get some familiar faces back with him. Brown has contacted New Orleans Hornets Coach Monty Williams to express his interest in having Hornets assistant Michael Malone join him in Los Angeles, according to an NBA official briefed on the matter who was not authorized to speak publicly. Another coach Brown is interested in having on his Lakers staff is Detroit Pistons Coach John Kuester, two executives with NBA teams said. Kuester's job with the Pistons is tenuous because of the revolt from his players during the past season when five of them skipped a practice.

Really? Adding a guy who caused a mutiny in Detroit seems like a good idea?

It sure was nice of Pip to acknowledge the greatest player, Lebron James, to ever play in the NBA before he started collecting titles.
I find it very refreshing that greatness recognizes greatness.
Pip knows that MJ never locked people up on the defense like Lebron does.
Pip knows that MJ never could guard positions 1 - 4 and sometimes 5, then turn around and run the point while posting up and drilling 3pts while playing the entire 4th quarter then, guard one of the fastest point guards on the planet, and block his 3 pointer. Wow.
Pip knows who did MJ's dirty work, because he was the one doing it. While Lebron does his own dirty work and then some.
Remember this, Pip played with or vs MJ and Lebron, he has watch and knows a lot of bball.
He knows the greatest player in the NBA when he sees him and I agree, it's Lebron James.

Masses???
You mean the masses that said I was crazy when I told you those pathetic Lakers were done in December after the Spurs and the Heat exposed them.
Or maybe it was the idiots that disagreed with me that Lebron and Dwade were not going to lose 4 games in a series.
Dude, why do you think I give a dam what you dumbass people think, clearly you don't know $h!t about bball. When I need instructions on how to be a foolish hater or make childish ad hominem posts I will come to you. Otherwise there isn't anything you can tell me.
