He is still going to miss 20+gms with the little stuff. His biggest value for CLE is as a mentor to Irving and an expiring contract after next season.

Work hard or not, this will be your last big contract, enjoy your last 2 yrs while you can

Baron Davis getting into shape...we've heRd this one before.

If he actually does a blackhole will form and take all of Cleveland with it. Actually that's ok.

Getting in shape doesn't matter in June. If he stays in shape he can be a difference-maker. This is his last shot. I'd like to see the player I saw a few years ago before leaving the Warriors.

It wasn't that long ago.

He wants a trade! He'll be good for a while and then throw a temper tantrum and force a trade. This guy is a loser.

that's nice but he needs to work on his destructive attitude more than anything else

One of my all time favorite players to watch when he's motivated (especially that warriors mavs series). really wish i could believe him this time

May 29, 2011  03:08 PM ET

I'll believe it when I see it.

Cavs should be more interested in Kanter and Williams. Ryan Hollins is not a center and Varejao is a PF, not a center. Jamison could be an excellent 6th man off the bench.

Baron is a difference maker when healthy and motivated. Whoever they take as a PG would sit behind Baron anyway. And if they manage to deal Baron? Ramon Sessions is a very capable PG that deserves a shot.

<Ryan Hollins is not a starting center>
