08:08 AM ET 05.31 | Red Square may have an edge over Celtics green for Nenad Krstic. CelticsLife.com points out that a Sports.ru report says that CSKA Moscow is interested in signing Krstic to a long-term deal. Krstic, 27, was acquired by Boston along with Jeff Green at the trade deadline for Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson. The 7-foot center played in 24 games (20 starts) for the Celtics, averaging 9.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. In the playoffs, he was benched in favor of Jermaine O'Neal, and averaged 1.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in limited playing time. Krstic had his most successful season with the New Jersey Nets in 2006-07, averaging 16.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Moscow has featured NBA players such as Andrei Kirilenko and Darius Songaila in the past.

Then Doc said "talents? LOL....Good luck with that Moscow!!!"

May 31, 2011  08:11 AM ET

Yeah, Krstic is done but with that being said he's still better than Jermaine O'Neal:

May 31, 2011  08:15 AM ET

What? Boston isn't cold enough for you, Nad?

May 31, 2011  08:18 AM ET

He's too young for the Celtics anyways.

May 31, 2011  08:29 AM ET

He does not fit the Celtics scheme.

May 31, 2011  08:32 AM ET

The nba will never recover from losing ne-nerd.......
what are we all to do?

May 31, 2011  08:36 AM ET

Humm, his production declined. Might be a smart move for him. Good luck in CKSA Moskow.

May 31, 2011  08:39 AM ET

Good luck young man but you aren't NBA Center material. Put on some weight and learn to bang a little inside.

May 31, 2011  08:53 AM ET

I definitely enjoyed having Krstic play with the Nets. It was his best team, and I thought he'd have a pretty good career until the Nets imploded IMO.

Take your talents to Moscow bro. The caviar is better there.

May 31, 2011  08:58 AM ET

if he could play bigger and better defense he'd be in much more demand in the nba...

May 31, 2011  09:02 AM ET

Does Moscow have a beach, Bro?

May 31, 2011  09:14 AM ET

Jermaine O???Neal that is how many times a minute I question him being in a starting lineup

May 31, 2011  09:34 AM ET

Well Krstic is a Free Agent .... so play in Moscow or be LOCKOUT in the NBA ....

May 31, 2011  09:34 AM ET

at least he's better than that all talk and fatso and cocky named kendrick perkins

May 31, 2011  10:56 AM ET

He will adapt better in moscow. I hope he doesn't make that decision live on ESPN.

?
Perk is not 1 year removed from major knee surgery...
Can you cut the guy a lttle slack?

May 31, 2011  12:25 PM ET

He will be back. They always come back

May 31, 2011  03:15 PM ET

Danny Ainge failed.

May 31, 2011  07:30 PM ET

I'd rather play for Moscow than Boston too dude.

So essentially Ainge got Green back for Perk, since they are going to lose Kristic.

Nice trade, give away a defensive specialist for a poor shooting, lethargic wing player. Ainge is the man!!
