Jackson 'very much' considered by Warriors

08:05 AM ET 05.31 | If it were a contest to determine who was best at "throwing to commercial" after an in-game replay, Mark Jackson might already have the job. The Warriors have been purposely quiet about their head coaching search, so no wonder it's been tricky separating the frontrunners from the also-rans. Mike Brown was considered a leading candidate, but then he took the Los Angeles Lakers head job. Dwane Casey, Lawrence Frank and Brian Shaw are now said to be on the Warriors' short list. Put Jackson on that list, too. He appears to be a finalist. Jackson -- the former New York Knick, Indiana Pacer and current analyst for ESPN and ABC -- is very much being considered for the Golden State job.

Am I the only one who read the headline "Jackson 'very much' considered by Warriors" and assumed they meant Phil? I want the last 5 minutes of my life back.

step #1 .... drop that Golden State krap and return to being the San Francisco Warriors.... if Oakland doesn't like it, well too bad....
step#2 ... hire a well-rounded coach AND GM to ensure continuity through the draft and free agency (not that anyone would want to go there)
step#3 let Jerry West make all personnel moves
I personally think West took this job to stick it to the Fakers

Lets get this straight, the Warriors fired a young coach who coached 'em to their best record in 3+ yrs to hire a basketball TV analyst who has never done any coaching at the pro or semi pro level but run his yap on TV.
Well ,it's the Warriors expect anything different.
