08:45 AM ET 05.31 | Arsenal have been warned off launching a bid for Blackburn defender Phil Jones, with Rovers boss Kean telling the stopper that any move would see him settle for a place on the bench. The 19-year-old defender has caught the attention of several of the Premier League's top clubs with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all having monitored his progress since his breakthrough at Ewood Park.

Wales finally has a team in the Premier League... while I personally would've loved to see Cardiff City do it first, I can find myself pulling for Swansea... food for thought then, any chance Celtic and Rangers take the low road and try to enter the Championship to get their wish of joining the Premiership? I actually believe, when push comes to shove on this one, that they really don't want out of Scotland... they just want more money.

That's the bottom line....

Tony, I'm sure you already saw this.... but for anybody else interested in the on-going DCU stadium saga, WaPo's Steven Goff toured the Buzzard Point site that is a possible location for construction.

Missed a lot of football this weekend. I was busy doing volunteer work all weekend.... Finally caught up with the DVR yesterday.

What is everyone's take on the CL final? And how about DCU?!?!? Pure coincidence that Dax was not playing.... After 11 games, they are already closing in on last season's point total.

CL = the better team won. Fun game to watch, I really though ManU had a chance after Rooney's goal.

The Crew finally put some goals in the net but they give up 3 as well. J James has started to show why he is on his forth team already. Time to put Iro back in the starting XI

So.... I feel like I've missed a lot on the FIFA Corruption topic. Let me see if I have it straight....

The Dude from Qatar and the CONCACAF Chief have been suspended.... right before the vote for FIFA president.

The Qatari has pulled out of the election.... leaving only Blatter.

The English FA, who previously stated that they would abstain from voting, have said that they will now ask for the election to be delayed.

The FIFA General Secretary pretty much admitted that the Qatari's bought the '22 WC.

Outside of the English, the main power players in FIFA are keeping their mouth shut.

Major FIFA sponsors are starting to voice their concerns.

Blatter is still saying that there's no crisis.

Do I have it all right? Anything more?

I've been following this.. but haven't read this article. I've also heard, and seen, how narrow the blocks are... and even though it could easily be combined by closing down 1st St... someone said that the old Pepco power plant either is on, or up for nomination for, the National Register of Historic Places.... so if that's true, instead of trading in my car this summer... I may have to "dodge a stray dog" that wandered into my path... ;-)

I feel like a smaller pitch, to shoehorn into a narrow site, would be a bad thing.
