Shaq setting up The Big Comeback

08:08 AM ET 06.02 | Shaquille O'Neal started saying goodbye Wednesday on Twitter. There will be marching bands and music and something much, much louder. This wasn't a retirement, as much as it was a chance to crash LeBron James' and Dwyane Wade's championship coronation. Maybe O'Neal believes this is the end, but perhaps he'll prove too intoxicated with the drama of comebacks and rebirths to stay away for good. ... There's still a comeback left within him, still some late-season clandestine workouts with teams to show he can be useful in the playoffs. A former front-office executive, former coach and former teammate of O'Neal's privately agreed with the premise on Wednesday: Shaq will try to play again.

I hope he does not entertain thoughts of a comeback.....7 years ago he took shots at Ewing for being a shell of his former self, and a hanger on, and Shaq did the exact same thing....he has nothing left in the tank

Shaq's too old and too fat. There's no coming back left in him so don't believe the rumor y'll be hearing. Now if he's on the same talk show with Barkley taking jabs at Kobe and Lebron as they fade away I'm all for it. TNT better run to hire Shaq. He is a natural born dummy so made for TV.

He has always had a comical personality...like him or not...

Shaq will attempt a comeback for sure.

At some point, a contender will suffer an injury and then blow up his phone seeking his services for half a season.

Once he hits the floor, he will be out of shape (more than already) and look like a buffoon...

Hopefully, he will be smart and not pull a Brett Farve and tarnish even more of his legacy.

Time to play cops and robbers, Bro?

hopefully shaq is smart enough to not pull a comeback. if he gets back, he'd likely box out all his teammates from entering the court.
