The Predators, coming off the best season in franchise history, are seeing this firsthand with their coaching staff. Assistant coach Peter Horachek confirmed Wednesday that he interviewed with the Dallas Stars this week for their head coaching vacancy. Horachek, 51, said he met with Stars Director of Scouting and Player Development Les Jackson and General Manager Joe Nieuwendyk. "Great people. I really enjoyed sitting down and talking to them," Horachek said. "They have a great facility there, where their offices are and the practice rink is. It looks like it was a fabulous facility."

This is the kind of guy the Stars are going to have to go after. I don't think they'll be able to bring a big name coach in until things are settled with the ownership. It could work out, but I'd only sign him for two years tops.
