Georgia Tech ought to hire Rick Neuheisel as its next coach, Baltimore Ravens coach Brian Billick says. Neuheisel, 46, has eight years' experience as a head coach at Colorado and Washington and is in his third season as an assistant on Billick's staff, the first two as quarterbacks coach and this season as offensive coordinator.

Receiving a recommendation from Billick is like the kiss of death. Plus Neuheisel didn't do much at CU.

November 30, 2007  10:03 AM ET

What do you expect? He's a lawyer!

November 30, 2007  10:06 AM ET

Yes, because we all see what a great offense Baltimore has...

November 30, 2007  10:21 AM ET

Ah.....exhibit B your honor!

November 30, 2007  10:38 AM ET

However, if i did need help with my March Madness pool, Neuheisel would be the first I call.

Um, nevermind.

November 30, 2007  10:30 PM ET

Why not? Didn't do much at CU? Are you kidding?

November 30, 2007  10:46 PM ET

Pretty much if Brian Billick say it these days, you do the opposite. You is supposed to be an offensive mastermind, but his Ravens have sucked on O for his entire tenure as Ravens roach, errrrrrrrrrrrr........coach.

December 2, 2007  04:09 AM ET

Hey, all Neuheisel did was participate in a football pool, something all of you probably have done. Didn't do much at CU? Are you kidding? CU was a threat when he was there, and Washington was, too. Ga. Tech would do well to get him. Tech is not exactly the center of the college football world. I know UGA won't want him there.

December 2, 2007  04:10 AM ET

Oh, Cassidy, I suppose Chan Gailey was an offensive mind, eh? Look at the Super Bowl ring on Billick's finger.

December 3, 2007  09:52 AM ET

"All Neuheisel did was participate in a football pool." This is called gambling and people who lead NCAA football teams are not supposed to do that. It's illegal and it's irrelevant whether anyone of us has done that or not, unless we aspire to be coaches - or judges, etc. Hell, Bill Clinton nearly got axed for lying about Monica Lewinsky because he was afraid Hillary would kill him with sex. BTW, not all of the truth has ever come out on Ricky.

Neuheisel should still be at U-Dub
