09:21 AM ET 06.05 | The Timberwolves agreeing to terms with Ricky Rubio on a contract means they are expected to move former Syracuse standout Jonny Flynn, who fell out of favor with coach Kurt Rambis and was replaced at the point by Luke Ridnour. Look for the Kings and Raptors to make bids for Flynn, who faltered in general manager David Kahn's survival-of-the-fittest plan for his point guards

June 5, 2011  10:39 AM ET

Since being drafted with RR, this is the first time Flynn has managed to get a thread on FN, on his own :-)

he's played like what? 2 years? i think people are judging him a little quick. he could have just hit the proverbial sophomore slump last year

Ditto, I wonder if the NYC attitude caused the rift b/w Flynn and Rambis.

I agree.. Hes not starter material but could develop into a decent backup.. Hes not a scorer so if he could spend the next season working under a good true PG you never know. Id take him in Sac, just wouldnt give up much.. Maybe a 2nd round pick..

Flynn is a good player but what the T-wolves need to do is figure out what they are going to do about the coaching..... Under Rambis, Flynn is not a good player because he can not run the type of system that Rambis is installing, that is not where his skill sets lay.... He is good at cutting to the basket and was one of the best Pick and Roll players in his draft, which he doesnt do in the triangle offense ..... but then again who do you keep with Rubio, Luke, and Flynn??
