08:15 AM ET 06.08 | Soon, the season of selling may set in on the North Side. Although the Cubs may consider a youth movement if their struggles continue, Aramis Ramirez's agent tells us the veteran third baseman isn't inclined to waive his no-trade clause. Ramirez is in the final year of a five-year, $75 million contract, making $14.6 million this year. The Cubs hold the option in 2012 for $15 million. Agent Paul Kinzer, who also represents Sox outfielder Alex Rios, told us Tuesday that Ramirez hopes to play for the Cubs again in 2012. "He doesn't even want to take a trade. He took less years and less money to stay in Chicago [in 2006], so that is definitely his first option," Kinzer said via phone from Florida.

Not only is he lazy on the field, he's too lazy to move too.

He probably doesn't want to leave. If he went elsewhere, people my have those pesky expectations that he play hard all the time.

He has been one of the few Cubs who has played decently.

He or she is in a rut almost as bad as the Cubbies' championship drought. No critique involved, though.

I have far more fun rooting against the Cubbies. It's like having your team win the World Series every year. More people should try it.
