08:29 AM ET 06.09 | The Canucks remain two wins from the Stanley Cup, though if you believe in momentum, things have clearly become very different for Vancouver. It says here you have to start Roberto Luongo -- he is your franchise goaltender. But you do so with a short leash. When they needed saves Wednesday night to keep the game close, they didn't get many of them, or certainly not enough of them. They can't risk having that happen again in the fifth game, especially not at home in front of what will be a very tense crowd. It was interesting Wednesday night in Rogers Arena, that when Luongo got the hook the sellout crowd in Vancouver cheered wildly. We know how the Vancouver fans would vote, now to see what Alain Vigneault decides and the answer will be Luongo, but. ...

Agreed. He hasn't exactly been a brick wall back there. Thomas on the other hand . . . . .

Not quite sure how Tim Thomas didn't end up a finalist for the Hart Trophy this year, but if he doesn't win the Vezina and probably the Conn Smyth I'll be shocked.

Thomas has been good, the D has played well in front of him, the PK has played exceptionally well and scoring from a multitude of players. You can't ask for too much more from the Bruins

Probably need to win the series first before winning the Conn Smyth. I've been a Bruins fan too long to be that confident....yet

I'm not over confident about the outcome of this series, but I do think that TT has been the best player in these playoffs.....hands down.

After 4 games Boston has scored twice as many goals on Vancouver's PP than the Nucks have. This bodes very well for Boston.

Well, to be fair, he has had his shaky moments as well. Best player for the Bruins when he needed to be, no doubt. Though in Henrietty Sedin would wake up and score a bunch to win the series, I guess a case could be made for her.

Bobby Big Pads is over rated. He drops to the butterfly and hopes the pucks hit him. Well they haven't the past two games.

His Goals against in these playoffs is 2.11, his save % is .936 and he has 3 shutouts while playing against some of the highest scoring teams in the league this year. Vancouver [at #1], Philly & Tampa are all top 10 scoring teams and Montreal was 13th.
I think sometimes we expect too much from this guy because he has spoiled us.

David Krejci is quietly racking up the points as well.

I am not discounting his accomplishments, yes he is a top tier goalie, has the stats to back it up, and has carried the team when he had to.
All I am saying is that IF Vancouver would come back and win (and obviously I am not hoping for that in any way), it would be a tough argument to make to give the Conn Smyth to the losing goaltender.
