08:27 AM ET 06.10 | While Nick Saban had a pretty good read on Demetrius Goode and Petey Smith, another Alabama departure caught him off his guard. Redshirt freshman running back Corey Grant's decision to transfer from Alabama "was a little bit of a surprise," Alabama coach Nick Saban said [Thursday] before teeing off in his annual charity golf tournament that benefits his "Nick's Kids" program at Old Overton Club in suburban Birmingham. "Corey Grant is a fine young man that we really wanted to stay in our program," Saban said of the former Opelika High School star, who has not yet announced where he will enroll. ... "There was really no reason other than how much he thought he was going to play, although I do think he had a role on our team and I do think he would have played."

Come on guys, terrible pic, change it out, come on, do some research, it is difficult.

They do it just to irritate those of you old enough to remember leisure suits. I'm not that old.

He would have been limited in playing time. If he believes he has a better shot somewhere else I wish him the best of luck. He seems like a good kid.

Your nose just keeps getting longer, huh.

Just trying to slip one past the senile ones!

Give Deep Creek that nose growing pic, he is asking for it, it is "sock it to him time". FJJ or LUS, you out there?

Who's Deep Creek?

I was hoping for another Alabama story just so i could see that pic of Saban in that sky blue jacket again....

QUOTE(#12):

You probably HAD a leisure suit hanging in your closet. Wait, you are married, you don't have a closet, ok, hanging up in the basement closet with the rest of your 3 shirts and pants.

Fixed it...past tense.

The rest is 100% accurate.

Had, me too, hated to get rid of it, just got thread bare, they just don't make them to last, only got 30 years or so out of it. Oh well, I still have one that is still good, had it like 40 or 45 years now, I still look great in it too, have to fight off the Ladies. Really, make fun of me, but how many of you still can wear clothes from 45 years ago, most of you can't get close to get into them, so there :P

I could still wear clothes from 45 years ago (if I'd have kept them)...they just wouldn't fit and would look bad...but I could still wear 'em!

...and you still live in a dream world if you think you have to fight the ladies off! There ain't no market for old farts!

Wah, wah, wah. There was a list out on "oversigners" and while Saban was in the top 10, he wasn't even in the top 5, but who does everyone bring up when they want to talk oversigning?

It's exactly like calling him a jobhopper. Every coach jobhops, but when Saban does it, somehow he's a bad guy for doing it.

I guess we have to have someone we can criticize.

Saban just had the ballz to admit he believed in over-siging and defended his position when asked by the Media. Petrino did the same thing and has caught **** a/b it locally, he just doesn't have the national stage that Saban does.

Give him props for having the stones to defend his stand openly when asked by the media.
