09:51 AM ET 06.11 | Ohio State can't say it was surprised to hear the name Dennis Talbott this week in reports claiming he paid former quarterback Terrelle Pryor thousands of dollars for signing memorabilia. The Plain Dealer has learned that on at least two occasions, Ohio State was warned about Talbott and his relationship with OSU football players, long before ESPN's report Tuesday that Talbott had given Pryor between $20,000 and $40,000.

Institutional Control...

Words we are going to hear a whole lot of.

Just because the Vest fell on his sword... doesn't mean the palace revolt isn't done quite yet.

This same guy was probably promised that he would be Pryors agent when the time came to enter the draft in exchange for favors done while in school.Don't be surprised if this guy is behind everything financial that came Pryors way while a Buckeye.A page right out of the Reggie Bush how to make it on scholarship book.

Didn't Texas just pass a law making it a felony to induce a student-athlete to jeopardize or revoke his NCAA eligibility? If so that law needs to be adopted in a bunch of states. This **** is rampant and if (and I say if) TP did this then to hell with him.

Relax! We are going to see a complete revamped and over hauled NCAA system when it comes to policing scholarship athletes. What's done is done and as much as I hate to admit it Ohio State has no one to blame but themselves for the mess they are in.

Rampant at osu and the sec, not the rest of the big ten. I hope you don't like osu football that much because you won't have it for a loooooong time.

This horse is dead. Let's flog something besides tOSU for a while.

They are going to beat this horse up until the season starts and it will get more intense after Aug when then NCAA releases the findings of their internal investigation. Then they will drag out the drama til Dec when they are to come down with the hammer.

I still blame TSUN for all bad things! It was RR who started all the bad things sprinkle in some ND hate!
