10:56 AM ET 06.11 | Charles Barkley said that he has been asked to be part of ownership groups looking to buy NBA teams. "I have been asked but I haven't found one I wanted to do," he said. Barkley then made sure to point out that he could never be a traditional type of owner. "I don't have enough money to be like a Michael [Jordan] and take complete control of an organization," he said, alluding to Jordan's role as majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. "But it would be fun to, like whether it was in Philadelphia or Phoenix, to put a few million dollars in and be not a speaking owner but just a fun, good investment."

It took Cuban 10 years to shut his pie hole and look at the Mavs now...I doubt a average lifetime would be enough to shut Charles up.

Did you people even read the article, he wouldn't be an in-control type owner, more like an investor that puts in some money and sits back and collect any money made. Geez, at least read the article before spouting out such nonsense, even Barkley himself in the article said it'd be a non-speaking investor type situation.

Asking Charles to be a silent partner is like asking LeBron to show up in the 4th quarter of the NBA finals.
