08:09 AM ET 06.14 | Prospective Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink will ask Roman Abramovich to patch things up with Ray Wilkins and reinstate him as part of the backroom staff at Stamford Bridge. Hiddink, who worked with Wilkins during his spell in charge in 2009, is expected to be announced as Chelsea boss by the end of the week. Hiddink wants to establish a familiar staff and reinstating Wilkins is top of his priority list.

I'm thinking that we'll have no comments on the actual T&R.... and that sounds just fine.

A T&R about a staff member who isn't even a manager? BORING!!

It's the video in #5 but he's tired of MLS officials not getting critiqued and everything getting swept under the rug. He's also tired of the "they got a cheap foul earlier and you'll get one now", just wants the game to be called.

Ben Olsen went on for a while talking about the refs this weekend at the "Meet the Team Day" this weekend. He was saying that the refs are from many different countries, so they have different standards.... is that true?

If there's one thing I learned yesterday, after listening to Mike & Mike, the Sports Reporters and watching ESPN when I got home, regardless of how funny MED thinks he is, he is actually the ONLY person in America who doesn't think LeBron was insulting the "average" fan with his benevolent comments.

He insulted us more with his play, IMO.

I prefer Keith Foulke's comments....
"They're not going to make it any harder than it is for me to go home and look in the mirror. Like I've told you guys plenty of times, I'm more embarrassed to walk into this locker room and look at the faces of my teammates than I am to walk out and see Johnny from Burger King booing me. I'm worried about these guys, not everybody else."

It is true, but I've started to see more local ref's.. Bad news about that though is that they are noobs and you get games like Portland vs. DC.

He's piss-poor at articulating his point, but Lebron has a valid beef. Lebron did what we all **** about what we feel the "average" sports figure should do, and got 2 others to do the same thing. He took less money to help the team. And he got one other superstar and one of the better power forwards (but far from the best) to do it as well. Normally though, the average sports figure leaves his team who'd normally get the home-town discount for the bigger paycheck. He left his home-town team willing to spend more, for less in another city to win championships. He failed. Big deal. It is pretty sad that people get their rocks off by seeing him fail. ESPN was the scum in "The Decision"... They commercialized it. Lebron sent his money to his charities. That much is typical ESPN...
That said... all sports need villains, just as much as they need heros. And frankly, if people want a villain, they'll have their wish. And Chicago, NY and Boston are going to be tough to beat next year... so it might've been win this year, or bust...
