07:53 AM ET 06.16 | Maybe it goes down easier to read you finished 122nd in a ranking of pro sports teams, which is where the Bengals landed among all NFL, NBA, NHL and Major League Baseball teams. For the past 20 years, there has been little reward for being a Bengals fan. Recently, we interviewed one Cincinnati fan who grew tired of the losing and gave up his allegiance to join Steeler Nation. Another more famous Bengals fan, Nick Lachey, also expressed his displeasure with the organization to the AFC North blog. Cincinnati hasn't won a playoff game in two decades, doesn't put enough money into its product and ownership continues to make head-scratching decisions. The Bengals' franchise player -- quarterback Carson Palmer -- recently quit on the team, which only adds to its awful reputation.

Wow... worse than the Clippers.

June 16, 2011  08:10 AM ET

No one is worse than the Vancouver or Cleveland fans...

June 16, 2011  08:11 AM ET

Nick Lachey? Wow. The Jack Nicholson of Cincinnati.

June 16, 2011  08:14 AM ET

What we've been saying here for years.

June 16, 2011  08:14 AM ET

If Mike Brown wants to know why this is, he only needs to look in the mirror.

June 16, 2011  08:15 AM ET

Some who say the Bill's some would say the Queens, I don't know about that one.

June 16, 2011  08:15 AM ET

not sure how the bengals trumped the kansas city royals.....

June 16, 2011  08:19 AM ET

If Nick Lachey says so, it must be dripping with street cred. Any team that fields a clown show with Ocho Boingo and TO isn't exactly asking to be taken very seriously.

A technique that would not work for Al Davis.

Yep...the undead have no reflection.

June 16, 2011  08:23 AM ET

Damn.... What a label.

June 16, 2011  08:38 AM ET

So much for being a business. Ends that argument. When you are the worst at what you do and not only continue to exist, but make huge profits then you are not a business.

June 16, 2011  08:39 AM ET

But as long as Mike Brown's amused, that's all that matters, right?

Wow... worse than the Clippers.

I think their helmets were a deciding factor. A real Tie Breaker.

June 16, 2011  08:43 AM ET

The Bengals have the worst owner by far, but I don't think they are the worst team in all of pro sports, The Redskins are 1 spot ahead of the Bengals....

June 16, 2011  08:44 AM ET

I've only been saying this for the last past 2 years. BY FAR the worst franchise maybe in pro sports HISTORY.

QUOTE(#1):

Wow... worse than the Clippers.

The Clips have the distinction of having the worst owner in pro sports.

Nick Lachey? Wow. The Jack Nicholson of Cincinnati.

I think that's the only thing Nick has going for him lately.

June 16, 2011  08:46 AM ET

The Bungholes should be embarrassed. But I doubt the owner's embarrassed by much of anything.

But at least in Cincy they have the Reds still......there ranked 15th
