08:06 AM ET 06.17 | Jimmer Fredette created a stir a day earlier, but Brandon Knight may have stolen the show in Utah. The former Kentucky guard ran through an hour-long solo workout Thursday with the Jazz. After the session was over, the 19-year-old whom many predict Utah will select with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft delivered an unexpected message. Knight feels strongly that he ranks among the most talented athletes in a weak draft class. And after being accused during recent weeks of ducking prospects such as ex-Connecticut guard Kemba Walker during pre-draft sessions, Knight revealed his true aspiration. "The guy I'm trying to work out against is Kyrie Irving," said Knight, referring to the former Duke point guard widely expected to be taken No. 1 overall by Cleveland.

They'd be foolish to pass on Irving. Irving will be a star

I'd take Knight over Irving based on the body of work last season. Irving is a shoot first PG and was injured most of last season. Why would the Cavs put their hopes in an proven commodity?

Who's the last great dookie? Neither can I.

Knight is better than Kyrie.

Kyrie has a motor that reminds me of Chris Paul. Not saying he will be as good a Paul but he is a keeper. I still think Cleveland should trade the pick for a proven player like Rudy Gay.

No thanks.

Nothing wrong with being the #3 pick. Prove your worth on the court my friend.

who in their right minds would trade a proven player for this pick

I be fighting to be the #1 pick .... first four years of Rookie contact ...

#1 John Wall $ 23.263m .... #2 Evan Turner $ 21.521m .... #3 Derrick Favors $ 19.337m ...

so about $1m a year between #1 and #3

After the "hour long SOLO" workout it was deemed not one could guard him.....

i like knight, but he's a shoot first pg at this point also.
he averaged 14 shots per game as a freshman, including a season ending 6 for 23 in the semis against uconn.
