Flacco adds fuel to Ravens-Steelers rivalry

08:01 AM ET 06.21 | Quarterback Joe Flacco can't quite pinpoint when it happened, but he's become a lightning rod for criticism. [Flacco] admits that he normally tries to stay away from the negative talk because it "aggravates" him. As such, Flacco had to be tipped off by a friend about Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley's comment that Flacco and the Ravens wouldn't win a Super Bowl "in this lifetime." ... "At some level I don't care [what Woodley says] because what does that really mean? But there is another level where it does kind of [tick] you off a little bit." The young signal-caller understands that the Steelers have ended the Ravens' playoff runs in two of the last three years, but Flacco is also encouraged by the fact his team has advanced to the playoffs three seasons running.

Sometimes the big wheel comes around in the circle of life. Sometimes the wheels on the bus go round and round. And sometimes the wheels just come off the bus.
Both teams are well-run, with solid coaching and good players. Sooner or later, the Steelers will get old or have too many injuries, and then the Ravens might have their turn.

Both should be aware that there is no football unless there is a CBA. If there is no CBA, both are right ,neither one will make it to the Super Bowl.

Ravens have certainly had the better team in the MD/DC metro area... converted more than a few former Redskins fans in my office to the purple and black.

More so I think they got fed up with that greedy SOB owner. When Cooke owned even if they lost, he didn't gouge the fans. Danny boy on the other hand, charges to watch the team F'in practice...just amazing.
