Moss likes Brady's loyalty

Receiver Randy Moss said it meant a lot to him that quarterback Tom Brady stepped up to defend him from critical comments made by ESPN's Ron Jaworski last week. "A lot of people brought it to my attention and to have a quarterback step up for me, that was a big thing," he said after last night's 27-24 win over the Ravens. "We got each other's back. I've been hated all my life and I don't think it's going to stop now. When you're up, people hate you. When you're down, they love you." Asked if he is bothered by the perception that he loafs and takes plays off, Moss said: "That goes back to the comment 'I do what I want to do, and play how I want to play.' "

Randy, Randy, Randy....

December 4, 2007  06:51 AM ET

Randy Moss is one of the greatest wide receives in the NFL along with Owens, Edwards, Harrison.

I don't know about the penalties because I didn't see the game, and none of the highlights show the plays in question. HOWEVER, how in the world could the replay officials not see that the "winning" TD was being juggled. My 5-yr-old son said, "Daddy, doesn't he have to have ahold of the ball before he goes off the field?" No matter how big a patsy fan you are, or no matter how bad you hate the patsys, you can't watch the replay and honestly...HONESTLY say that it was a legit TD.

I can't wait to see how many people get on here and try to trash Randy Moss. I wonder about you people sometimes....

I just wish we can go back to the archives from August when i was the only person on here saying how Randy was going to SMASH the league this year.

It's true that the Ravens were holding the Pats reveivers all night long, so i have no sympathy for them getting called for 2 penalties in the 4th.

December 4, 2007  07:22 AM ET

Of course you did you are a dishonest patsy fan. BTW, just because his fingertips never left the ball doesn't mean he had control. He never had control until he was out of bounds. It's sad, yet not surprising that a 5-yr-old is smarter than a patsy fan.

I remember, if that counts for anything.
I've been a big supporter of Moss since the trade. He's proving his worth as a great receiver, and as a great teamate.
Pimpy - still smiling?
Still perfect
pucker factor last night. 9
The refs have been making horrible calls all season, a lot against the pats, and last night a few went our way, after the first quarter they got used to calling against the ravens. There's a reason they have the 4th best d in the league.
I saw the game and my 5 year old had been asleep for over 4 hours.

Korneiser had black and purple pom poms in the booth.

Sorry I was away, I was in the bathroom pinching off a patriot. I feel ten pounds lighter.

Hey PimpleLooka, I didn't watch the game...THERE CALLED HIGHLIGHTS. And yes you are dishonest.

"Thus I'm not affraid to admit when I'm wrong...or in this case, when you're wrong."

You're obviously affraid to admitt it this time.

December 4, 2007  08:00 AM ET

Brady likes me, he really, really likes me! Go Pats! It wasn't pretty, but I'll take it!

December 4, 2007  08:01 AM ET

He had control, there was no way that could be called back.

December 4, 2007  08:02 AM ET

that would be a "durrell"

December 4, 2007  08:02 AM ET

Anyone else think Shula only agreed to do an interview if the Pats were losing? He was starting to sound pretty giddy for a while. A little premature I might add.

December 4, 2007  08:06 AM ET

You call your 5 year old a Patriot?

December 4, 2007  08:08 AM ET

I swear Korneiser was gonna jinx the Pats last night when everytime they got the ball back in the 4th he was talking about how the Pats were somehow destined to win. I was like "SHUT UP"! I hate when those announcers always seem to jinx the team...

Sorry Ericbanim, he definately had control of that ball. He moved it from his front to his side, but his fingers never left the ball. Ergo, TOUCHDOWN BABY!!!

But let's be real. Your 5 year old didn't say that. All he would see is the receiver catching the ball. Only people analyzing his fingertips would even question whether it was a catch. Stop lying my man...

December 4, 2007  08:12 AM ET

FYI, it isn't morning in the country I live in.

Pimple, if you are going to correct someones spelling, get it right yourself. Sports is spelled with an "r".

Interesting note: Only patsy fans have commented that it was a catch. hmmm

December 4, 2007  08:14 AM ET

What is it with you guys and fingertips? Just because it "didn't leave his fingertips" doesn't make it a catch.

December 4, 2007  08:16 AM ET

For all you time sensitive pastsy fans out there, it's in the middle of the afternoon where I live.
