08:01 AM ET 06.27 | Here's what you get for a guy who is "hated" in a big market: A radio show. Channing Crowder is well aware he's one of the least popular players on the Miami Dolphins roster. But this former Florida Gator standout also knows he's the most interesting member of the current team, and that's a subject that can not be debated. That's one of the many reasons WQAM (560 AM) gave Crowder, a six-year starter for the Dolphins, his own weekend radio show, which launched this Sunday, and will take place from noon to 2 p.m. each Sunday until his real job begins once the NFL ends this lockout. "I know people hate me. When people hate on you you've got to be doing something right," Crowder said Sunday in the show's first hour.

Here we go....
Channing Crowder is the son of former NFL defensive lineman Randy Crowder, who was a sixth-round pick by the Dolphins in 1974.
On January 23, 2008, Crowder lost control of his truck on a wet exit ramp and crashed it into a tree. He was unharmed and was charged with careless driving and leaving the scene of a crash.[2][3]
Prior to the October 27, 2007 New York Giants vs Miami Dolphins game in London, England, Crowder reportedly stated he "couldn't find London on a map". He later implied that he did not believe there were any black people in London as well.[4]
