08:19 AM ET 06.28 | Recently departed from Georgia, Brent Benedict plans to continue his playing career elsewhere. A day after Georgia announced that the redshirt freshman offensive guard had left the program, his father said the school has cleared the way for him to transfer. "He would hope to play again, he's looking around, but no plans of any kind at this time," Ed Benedict said [Monday] afternoon. ... Brent Benedict is continuing to workout, his father said. He said that he is about "95 percent" as he returns from tearing his ACL, PCL, meniscus and hamstring in a non-contact injury while running down the field to celebrate a touchdown at Bolles. Benedict was a top-40 recruit nationally when he committed to Georgia. His offers at the time included Florida, Southern California, Ohio State and Notre Dame. "I would imagine some of them would take a look at him again," his father said.

Easy choice, Go Gators!

Good shot at seeing the field soon at UF, bud. Plus, you get to annually kick the arse of those bad Dawgs that seem to have treated you soooo badly.

And, last but not least, you don't have to worry about those pesky, tiresome out-of-state OOC games, either. It's a no-brainer, come be a Gator!
