08:18 AM ET 07.01 | Keep those baseball metaphors coming. After struggling with the decision for months, [Russell Wilson] signed with the University of Wisconsin this week. However, the Rockies have left the door open for the Single-A minor-league second baseman to return next spring, according to Wilson's agent. "The Rockies have been incredibly understanding of how torn emotionally Russell is between baseball and football. He's not being disrespectful," agent Mark Rodgers said. "He's just a 22-year-old kid who wants to keep his options open. The Rockies haven't closed the door on him coming back. And Russell has not closed the door." The Rockies are protected if Wilson, a fourth-round pick in the 2010 draft, chooses to pursue a football career.

Yes and here's hoping he gets a better routine next go around. The girl that got axed was darn near naked. Wow.

It sucked that he was with the crazy lady just making BS up and calling it art. Look at me I look like I lost a fight with a weed whacker, I must be good.

She's used to looking at you! Can't be scarier looking than that! :)

Colin Cowherd said Wilson will be an NFL QB someday. I'm not seeing it.

I think he's only 5'10 or thereabouts.
