08:14 AM ET 07.08 | Mike Quade would prefer his players not dwell on trade speculation, which isn't going to get any easier as a possible selling season nears. The New York Yankees have three scouts watching the Washington Nationals and Chicago Cubs as they look for bullpen and hitting help. It appears the Yankees may have some interest in Cubs left-handed reliever John Grabow as well as hitters such as Aramis Ramirez and Alfonso Soriano. New York is looking to beef up its team which will be challenged by the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays in the second half in what is baseball's deepest division. ... WTOP-FM 103.5 in Washington reported on Thursday that the Yankees have interest in Nationals left-hander Sean Burnett.

They are right in looking for LH bullpen help. Nothing would make me happier than to see Brettard Gardener out of the line up. An empty suit. After his " hot " hitting streak he is still sitting on 18 RBI. Has to be the least productive LF in all of MLB.

Bud Selig needs to have all MLB teams to install a safety net around ball parks to prevent this from repeating itself.

As I understand it, this was the 2nd death that occurred at that ball park?

There was a fall last year, but the victim suffered ONLY a fractured skull and sprained ankle.

A 27 year old man was killed at a Rockies game earlier this year when he fell while trying to slide down a railing and landed on his head.
