07:59 AM ET 07.11 | Teams lined up not long ago to take themselves out of the running for Plaxico Burress, though there will likely be interest. Expect the Raiders to be one of the teams in the [Burress] derby. The team needs a veteran wide receiver, especially one with size. There are questions about how much the club can offer the former Giants star who was in jail the past two years, but if they can fit him under the cap, Oakland could make Burress one of their top free-agent targets.

Maybe he can shoot the Crypt Keeper?

Now [h]HERE[/h] is someone that (if in shape) could actually help the Raiders.

Maybe Al wants to revamp the run and shoot?

July 11, 2011  08:17 AM ET

Cap? Oakland? Exactly who is on that team who deserves big money?

And if they get Plax, who's going to throw him the ball? This is one of those teams that has more competition for the clipboard than for the starting job.

Plax, bro, don't waste your skills in Oaktown.

But look at all the immortal greats who have come out of Oakland.

And they owe it all to being bitten by Al Davis.

With a silver bullet!

Not much of a suprise here. It should be like coming home for Plax. You can easily get shot in the leg in the parking lot at Oakland.

Really hope he ends up in St Louis, Bradford's pretty damn good and also, Al Davis's face hasn't changed in 20 years.

Cold. Accurate, but cold.
