08:04 AM ET 07.15 | Lake Tahoe is a lovely place, even for a stakeout. An even better place if your desired target wanted to break six months of silence. However the Carson Palmer media hiatus will be lasting longer. The Bengals quarterback, who has sold his Indian Hill home and has said through intermediaries that he will retire if not traded, had no comment about his situation when spotted on the driving range at Edgewood Tahoe, where he is participating in this weekend's American Century Championship. Palmer said he is "laying low" while the lockout is going on and since no player movement can take place. The last time previously that Palmer had contact with a reporter was June 2 at the Cox Celebrity Championship hosted by Drew Brees.

Since we're tired of this topic - go to CNN.com and check out what the new Governor of the great broke state of California has mandated they teach in their schools. Just do it.

Man, Mike Brown needs to stop being a **** and just trade this guy to like Arizona or something. He can get a 1st round pick.... if not that.. at least two high ones.. like 2nd/4th or 2nd and a 3rd(the following year)

Tomorrow will follow the articles on how our students aren't learning math and science and we are becoming a third world nation in that aspect.

Well, how do they have time to learn science and math when CA, et al., has them taking classes about gay history, womens' studies, black history, Asian history, and 'Feelings', then TX has them substituting mythology for science...We let those scumbags do it to us then complain about it.

Since they also require teaching in Spanish, the teachers will have to be bi.

Wow. Oh wait, it's Jerry Brown. Now it's even less surprising...

"Palmer Stakeout Day 1...fruitless"

Well, what do you expect. All the fruits are in California.

Back in my youth, when he was screwing the people of California AND Linda Ronstadt, we called him "Governor Moonbeam."

I remember those days. That was back when Ronstadt was considered 'cool'.

I'm afraid they'll build a big wall across the border to keep us out.

I lived in California about 7 years ago. I remember reading an article about how part of San Francisco's city budget was dedicated to storing shopping carts that homeless people had left behind... just in case the "owners" should happen to come looking for them later.

I wish I was making that up.

My wife is headed up there in a couple of weeks to visit family. I'll have her reconnoiter the border areas and bring back a report.
