08:52 AM ET 07.16 | The Rangers have checked in with the Marlins about their pitching but no names have been exchanged, major-league sources say. The talks are "not far along," one source said, but there is a good fit between the clubs. Texas has one of the richest farm systems in baseball, and the Marlins' pattern of dealing arbitration-eligible veterans for prospects is well-established.

They'd send anyone out of town as long as there was a good pork chop thrown into the deal.

the marlins will send nolasco, anibal sanchez, josh johnson, for five top prospects, and that would be a great trade, after all the fish always trade their best players for minor leaguers now that's nothing new!!
